You can get ISDN here in Alabama for $89/mo or so, everything included,
which is significantly less than two business POTS lines. For a business
with two or four line capacity, ISDN cards would likely be a great option
-- and in Tennessee, for example, ISDN is much less expensive.

Well we could do like LinuxDVD and design our own. I can offer a
little bit of design help and the services of the company I work for
'Bitworks' which can handle getting the parts, doing the PCB's and
building them.
I haven't designed any Telcom stuff before so I can't be a whole lot
of help up front in design. But I can lay out the PCB pretty eaisly.
I can do schematic, layout work, and BOM work gratis but the building
would have to be done at Bitworks starndard rates since it would
involve our production labor.
My needs are pretty simple.. I just need basic functionality. Hook to
some analog lines and serve them to about 10 offices, voice mail,
forwarding, etc. I don't have a real use for VoIP yet.
