I have been replying to several of your posts - did you see my comments?
Unfortunately I have not been able to even reach my Grandstream GXV-3000 -
it doesn't even register on Asterisk (and the settings are good - saw many
examples). I read somewhere else on an Asterisk related site that
Grandstream phoes are a bitch to get to work with Asterisk.
If you can make it work, please let me know - maybe we can do a test across
the Atlantic ;-)
Michael

Hi.
anyone ever tryed (and perhaps managed to) stream
an h264 file to the gs videophone with asterisk?
I'm trying to encode with many tools, from
ffmpeg to JM and the funny thing is that
is pretty easy to crash the phone :/

currently I'm working with asterisk trunk.
Gs has latest firmware.
The phone registers ok and place calls.
App_echo works (you can see yourself,
even with video).
Also voicemail works, but you need to add fmtp=blah to asterisk
sdp, as a previous email of John Martin suggested.
I've not tryed between 2 gs, since I have only one :)
What now I'm trying to achieve is to encode any valid video
file to h264 suitable for being streamed to a videophone,
be it gs or eyebeam or whatever.
But seems a bit hard :/
