Hello,
Has anyone managed to compile successfully Asterisk on FreeBSD ?
I will appreciate your tips.
Yes, but there are a few changes to headers that will need to be made.
In most places, it's simply the addition of <sys/types.h>. However,
if you're planning to use Zaptel hardware, that's a different matter,
as you will have to port the zaptel kernel modules to FreeBSD. This
is not to be attempted by the faint-of-heart.
Note that gastman will now compile and run on FreeBSD (assuming
that you have the right versions of libraries installed).
