hm I think that will not be so easy beacause I4B patches directly into
/usr/src and you have to rebuild some kernel staff.
Best regards,
Matthias

I am also findinthisa to be true with sangome drivers. so it means alto more
time to build a custom iso with a custom kernel with all the patches. and a
pkg for the drivers.

True. But it *needs* to be done, I don't see point of making
asterisk-ready BSD iso without i4b and chan_capi.
this is why I nwill need more people to get involved. I have given it a push
start. and will do my best to try and keep it going but if other bsd-asterisk
users dont get ooff thier duffs and help the project wont servive.
Sorry if this sounds harsh but its the truth . So many projects die off
because of lack of involvement.

you are absolutly right here and I'm really willing to help you.
Implementing I4B into that CD makes sense if we start to generate our
own CD. I'm not skilled with sysinstall and that autoinstall stuff, but
the handbook is really good and we should be able make a CD ready.
I have the next two weeks more time then my time will be limited to
around two hour per week.
Best regards,
Matthias

For my environment, I needed an automatic FreeBSD installation via PXE.
The scripts are the same, so might help you.
Matthias is so far right, the kernel must be compiled, and I think also
part of the "world". This must be in the main iso, before it makes sense
to test any webmin interfaces or other packages.
I think somebody from Poland mentioned already, that a working chan_capi
should be inside. I agree to that, a soho PBX in Europe needs ISDN
support.
I will have a look at Richards ISO now.

Oliver

its not a iso yet. its just the compiled pkgs and a install script. this was
just a way to kick off quick installs and get more pbx systems sith
freebsd+asterisk. you can edit the install script if you dont want webmin and
the gui. I included the gui because I stand behind it and do techsupport for
it.
