Unfortunately not yet. However, there are a few commidity channels which
are candidates to be developed:
* Certain modems (supported by vgetty): Does anyone know if there's a
standard for sending/retrieving voice from voice modems?
* Lucent PCI Winmodems: I just don't know how to detect ring...
* ISDN4Linux: I don't have an ISDN card for my PC, but if anyone cares to
send me one, I'd be glad to try to develop a driver for it. My Atlas can
generate an ISDN (BRI or PRI) line for me to use.
* OpenH323: H.323 would let us talk to software, like netmeeting, etc.

Yah, it sounds like your shell is probably not bash. I've rewritten the
test as:
PBX_LIBS+=$(shell gtk-config --cflags >/dev/null 2>/dev/null && echo
"pbx_gtkconsole.so")
It is a bash! Who cares?! :-)

I think for europe these are the interresting channels. ISDN is the
current solution for small, medium and big solution. So if you support
ISDN4Linux, you will find a big userbase in europe. I would like to
replace my current pbx with a linux-based pbx.
After watching the code, i must admit that i am not able to programm a
ISDN4Linux channel. :-( But i can send you i ISDN-Card! :-) Just send me
your address and will send you a Fritz-card from AVM. It's a passive
card. You just can't Fax.
If you integrate ISDN it would be very easy to build voiceservers and
such.

Sure, if the card is supported under Linux by ISDN4Linux and supports the
audio interface, I'd be glad to try it out. Does it do PRI or BRI? I can
produce either type of channel in my "lab".
I will be out of the country from Dec 9 to Jan 8 on vacation to Egypt, so
we should probably arrange for the card to arrive sortly after the 8th.

Certainly it would seem so. I'll include my address at the bottom for you
to send the card.
