Hi All,

I am newbie , trying to install asterisk on ubuntu 9.10 desktop , i did the following

1)installed successfully the asterisk
2)installed successfully the asterisk-sounds
3)while trying to install asterisk-addson i got the following error
Code:
$sudo make
..................
................................
han_ooh323.c:3158: error: expected ‘)’ before string constant
make[1]: *** [chan_ooh323.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/asterisk/asterisk-addons-1.6.1.1/channels'
make: *** [channels] Error 2


any one can help to fix this issue.....

Hi All,
I have repeated the same steps as i did before , and now it works for me ... it works for me now ,,, but i really still surprised ............Might be i have made something mistake during the installation ? ..............

Hi techbrainless.....

I am also getting the same problem...
I want to know one more thing. When I checked the server, I found that bison-devel, Openssl-devel and gnutls-devel etc are not installed. Are these packages necessary for addons? But asterisk is working fine, only problem with addons.
Please give me a solution for this....
