Hi all,

Im currently trying to install unixODBC to work with asterisk for CDR. However, when i try to check on res_odbc, asterisk says module is not found. I have installed unixODBC and reinstalled it. When i make menuconfig, res_odbc is XXX and unselectable.
it says ODBC resource depends on: unixodbc(E), ltdl(E).

Any form of help is appreciated, thanks

I have the exact same problem.... "odbc show" in the asterisk CLI yields "No such command 'odbc show'".... I have installed unixODBC and freetds and configured all files and recompiled asterisk.... but i just can't get asterisk to recognize that ODBC is installed and configured

hi,

install unixodbc, unixodbc-bin, unixodbc-dev packages.

And don't forget to do ./configure the asterisk once again before make menuselect.

Make sure you have the .conf files backup.
