I'm newbie and planning to setup up an Asterisk system in my company's new location. For internal use, there will be 30-40 extension using hardphone / SiP phone whereas there will be a contact center to serve 3 toll free lines with all together 25 seats. Forecast to receive around max 80 call (inbound) and 40 call (outbound) per hour. ACD, CDR and voice logging is a must in call center operation.

At this current moment I still can't make up my mind on the hardware configuration for the server that I need to use to make sure it is cost effective and a good system efficiency. Should I go for

Option A
Intel S3420GPLX server board
Intel XEON 3400 processor
4GB DDR3 RAM

or

Option B
Intel S5500BC server board
Intel XEON 5500 processor (up to 2 processor)
4GB DDR3 RAM

Thank you in advance for any feedback given.
