I have been looking all over the web to find a tutorial explanation how you would set up asterisk so that when you dial 9 you get a dial tone and then can dial out an external number.
Can anyone tell me how to do this with either asterisk config files or with the Digium Asterisk gui.

P.S. Yes I know that this is not need with asterisk but I want to set it up this way
