Hello list,
we have prepared a short tutorial that will teach you to turn your
Asterisk@Home box into a full-fledged call center within minutes, with
both always-on and callback agents available and the very extensive
reporting facilities that QueueMetrics provides.

Hello Lenz,
This is a very good article. I use asterisk@home as a platform for my sms call center located in the Philippines. It is a very powerful platform that can power small home based call centers which caters to niche markets.
As you may know, niche markets are big potential business because big call center companies can't be flexible enough to service them.

Hello Andrea,
I don't think either that AAH is optimally suited for a call-center
solution, but it may be a viable solution for, e.g., adding little call
center functionalities to a small office where you have a support line. Of
course I would not buy a 50 or 100 agent call center with AAH - though it
has the advantage that you get everything up and running in a few minutes,
and then you can personalize the dialplan and every other module, though
it will surely take a lot of time and experience to do it correctly :-).
