Hi All,
For a big monitor in my call centre i need an application or website which can show queue status (how many callers in queue and time, stat, etc.).
I found a perl script called qview, which supposedly should be able to do the trick out of the box, but cant seem to get it to work.
Does anyone know if its still working (its from 2003) or does anyone have a similar script or program which they could direct me to?
Kind regards
Ole Bülow

You could also try our QueueMetrics call center monitor - it offers all the real-time and historical stats you need to successfully run a call-center, and it's very easy to install and deploy.

Hi Alexander and Lenz,
Im afraid that you have misunderstood my request.. I dont need a big mumbojumbo system i ONLY need a simple webpage which displays how many callers there currently are in my queue.
The solutions you have recommended are big unneccesary (expensive) systems which can do almost everything but cook a cup of coffee :)
But Thanks for the inputs..
What i need though is the qview solution working or if someone has made a similar page.
kind regards
Ole Bülow

Ole,
you may be able to massage Flash Operator Panel to do approximately what
you need

Hi Ole,
I second Drew's recommendation. I have used flash operator panel for
exactly this application before.
You can setup buttons with queue overview information (number of callers
waiting etc) plus a unique button for the next 10 callers in the queue
showing caller ID etc. I think it can also be configured to handle some
agent level stuff as well.
You can also customise it so you can have company logo's etc and it runs
on a web server so you can access it via a normal web page so it is
quite easy to provide access to multiple people.
The only issue that I have had is that occasionally Flash Operator Panel
indicated a call in progress when it had already been completed etc but
(from memory) a quick reload in your web browser and everything was
fixed.
Kind Regards

Hi Drew & Stuart,
I have lookd at that but it doesnt fullfill my needs. I need to run the webpage (aut. reload) on a 50" monitor with no mouse/keyboard (noone attending it), and with the flash thing someone needs to click as far as i have tested.. :) thats why the original qview.pl script was so brilliant - (asterisk addons) but it doesnt work anymore..
kind regards

Hi Ole,
You shouldn't need to click on anything. So long as the computer running
the 50" monitor can load a web page (on restart etc) you won't need to
click on anything.
We use it for a particular installation where operators load a web URL
to get a system overview but they don't click on anything. You do need
to click on things to transfer calls / find connected extensions.
Kind Regards

... and load VNC server on the 50" monitor machine and you're good to go.
