I can not get asterisk to play any recorded message to the caller.
I have pasted the screen shot of the console.
It works with the answser utility in the sdk now but still cant figure it out.
I do have it set to sliniear as directed by Mark.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Can you send me your config files off the list? I've configured my box to
background the demo-congrats on the linejack and I do get sound (although
the quality of the sound definitely leaves something to be desired -- I
may have to mangle the buffering of the sound on that interface because
the PhoneJack/LineJack is so brain dead that it only has enough memory for
ONE outstanding signed linear frame *sigh*
