Hi Everybody,

I was catching up on my list mail and I read with interest the thread about DTMF Delay. I don't think that particular delay applies to our setup, but it reminded me that there is an annoying delay when our dialplan application runs "SpeechDestroy()". If you guys ever get the chance to look at that, reducing that would make our stuff run a bit smoother.

I also noticed mention of preparing Fedora Core 5 and Fedora Core 6 versions of the connector. One thing you guys might consider, resources permitting, is also making 64bit versions of the connector for those platforms.

Just some thoughts -- thanks !

We plan to start work shortly on a 64-bit version of our client. It will
require a connection to a Speech Engine running in a 32-bit environment,
but it will at least allow the use of the Engine with a 64-bit Asterisk,
provided you have a second machine.

I don't have an ETA on it, but I will let the list know when it's
available.

By the way, we now have Fedora Core 5 and 6 builds. If anyone has
purchased the LumenVox Speech Engine and needs a link to download them,
contact me off-list and I can supply it.

To date there is no 64-bit version of the SRE, so 64-bit versions of the
connector would not be usable.
