Has anyone seen or written a 3rd party TAPI driver for asterisk?
I know there are several TAPI drivers like AstTapi from Omniis,
and several others as listed on this url
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+TAPI
However we can not use these because they are all 1st party TAPI drivers.
Anyone?

I was under the impression that these *were* 3rd party, because they are
not written by Digium (the 1st party) or you (the 2nd party). Who would
you consider a legitimate 3rd party?

Remparo,
If you're speaking of 3rd party call control, give me a shout off list.
I'd be happy to discuss some of our lessons learned about going this
route with Asterisk.
Regards,
Elliot

Elliot,
We are looking for a standard Tapi interface that can facilitate 3rd
party call control.
Tapi is important for us because we use it to connect all kind of
(tapi enabled) applications.
If you're speaking of 3rd party call control, give me a shout off list.
I'd be happy to discuss some of our lessons learned about going this
route with Asterisk.

Elliot

Steve,
I mean 3rd party Tapi in the technical sense of speaking. We do not
care who has written it, digium or some other company.
