According to this press release, the FCC has mandated that ports will take 1 day instead of 4.
However I am not familiar with carriers that do ports in FOUR days. Are you??

4 Days?!@# who are they trying to kid? When’s the last time you tried to get a number ported from say Verizon to Level3... If you are LUCKY it takes 2 weeks... A month if they can find a reason to delay it.. (you put Street on the addres not St as it says on the bill)

It'd be nice if the FCC made it easy for us to complain, and then after
that actually do something about the complaint.
Is there really anything we can do to force the carriers to actually stop
being jerks about it and actually do ports in a day?
